Lubricant

Choosing the right lubricant is essential not only to avoid the seizing of the plunger tip and fast wearing of all the other components of the injection system, but it also affects the quality of the cast parts.

Copromec has developed two high-quality lubricants, with the aim of ensuring the best possible performance.

Mineral oil with graphite

Advantages:

• excellent lubrication properties;
• longer lifetime of system components;
• regular and costant injection.

Synthetic oil without graphite

Advantages:

• reduction of flames and gases during the pouring of the alloy, with a consequent decrease in the porosity of the castings;
• biodegradation.
